Jake recently started 2nd grade and is already loving it. His teacher is very nice and he is making new friends and is glad to see a few friends from kindergarten in his class as well. His teacher complimented me on his reading, as he is already two levels ahead of where he ended last year which is great news!He has also often been recognized as a good citizen in his class and was selected last week to be a "Falcon Buddy." One girl and one boy from his class was chosen to meet new children when they come to Furr Elementary, show them around the school, and be that child's first friend. He is very excited about this new role.
